Dr. Hua Luo, MD, graduated from Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC) in 1998 and Beijing Institute of cardiopulmonary vascular disease in 2004. He studied and received clinical training in Peking University People,s Hospital, Fuwai Hospital, Anzhen Hospital and Shenzhen Hospital.
Dr. Luo has been devoting himself to turning pulmonary vascular medicine into an independent discipline at PKU. At PKU, he had founded the first PVD Pioneer Tribune(www.pkupv.lingw.net) in 2007 and organized the Young Scholars research team on pulmonary vascular diseases (PVD) in 2012. The website has become a bridge between PKU and the overseas, reporting PVD international developments and original scientific research at PKU. He has established the Anticoagulation Online Clinic and offered outpatients nationwide free consultation as well as follow-up. Furthermore, he has set up an innovative theoretical framework of PVD prevention and emphasized the importance of basic education. He wrote the first PVD proposal for discipline development and advocated education reform for training younger colleagues on the subject, which led to the first Chinese Student Association on PVD Prevention (CSAPP). His achievement on individual treatment of PTE anticoagulation in China gained the recognition from the Great Wall International Cardiovascular Conference.
Now, He is a member of Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute (PVRI) and American College of Cardiology (ACC). He works as a chief Physician of Critical Care Medicine in Peking University Shenzhen Hospital. He has been good at treating PVD and critically ill patients for 15 years.
