Prabhakar Rajiah, MBBS, MD, FRCR is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Associate Director of Cardiac CT and MRI in the Department of Radiology in UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, USA. His clinical and research interests are focused on cardiovascular imaging, particularly cardiovascular magnetic resonance and computed tomography.

He received his medical degree from the Madras Medical College affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University in Chennai, India. Subsequently, he went to United Kingdom and obtained Certification of Completion of Training as well as Fellowship of Royal College of Radiologists. He completed his cardiovascular imaging training in University of Washington, Seattle and Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio.

He has published numerous original articles in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of American College of Cardiology, Circulation, Radiographics, American Journal of Roentgenology and Journal of Thoracic imaging. He has published nine books on different subspecialties of radiology. He has contributed several chapters in several textbooks. He has presented his research experience at different national and international conferences.
