Dr. Pedro Lemos, MD PhD, is a staff physician in the Department of Interventional Cardiology at the Heart Institute (InCor) of the University of Sao Paulo Medical School, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

He received his medical degree from the University of Brasilia and his clinical training in internal medicine, general cardiology, and interventional cardiology at the University of Sao Paulo, in Brazil. He served as a fellow at the Erasmus Medical Center – University of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, where he received his PhD degree in 2004.

Dr. Lemos is currently the head of the Interventional Cardiology Department at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed journals, mainly focused on catheter-based diagnostic and therapeutic methods for cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Lemos has been frequently invited to present his clinical and pre-clinical works at medical symposia and conferences in Latin America, Japan, Europe, India and the USA.
