Dr. Cademartiri attended Medical School (1992-1998) and Radiology Residency (1998-2002) at the University Hospital of Parma/IT. While completing the training in Radiology he started a period of training & research in Cardio-Vascular Imaging at the Radiology Department of the Erasmus Medical Center University in Rotterdam/NL (2000-2002). Clinical post-residency experience was performed at the Radiology Department of the Erasmus Medical Center University in Rotterdam (2002-2005) while completing a PhD in Cardiovascular Imaging. In 2006 moved to Italy as Chief of Non Invasive Cardiovascular Imaging in the Department of Radiology of the University Hospital of Parma until 2011. Between 2011 and 2015 worked as Consultant for several Italian Hospitals and Diagnostic centres mainly focusing on general diagnostic radiology and cardiovascular imaging. In 2015 he moved to Canada and worked in clinic and research at the Montreal Heart Institute until 2017.Since 2012 he is also Associate Professor of Radiology at Erasmus Medical Center University in Rotterdam/NL.

He is currently Director of the Cardiovascular Imaging Service at SDN IRCCS (Naples/IT) and Director of the Cardiovascular Imaging Service at Affidea Italy (Padua-Monselice/IT). He is also Chief of the Department of Radiology at Villa Berica Hospital (Vicenza/IT).

Dr. Cademartiri developed its core clinical experience in Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Emergency Radiology (CT and MRI).

He is author or co-author of >1000 publications of which 360 indexed in PubMed, 11 books and more than 80 book chapters. The global Impact Factor is more than 1500 and the h-index is 61 (>16k citations) according to Google Scholar. He is member of the Italian Society of Radiology and of the European Society of Radiology. He is also Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal Cardiovascular Imaging and Peer J. Previously he has been in the Editorial Board of European Radiology and La Radiologia Medica.
