Dr. Binhuan Wang received his B.S. in Mathematics from Tsinghua University, M.S. in Statistics from Sichuan University, and Ph.D. in Statistics from Georgia State University. Right now he is an Associate Research Scientist at the School of Medicine, New York University. As a Research Scientist at New York University, he has been a productive researcher focusing on both methodology and data analysis. At NYU, he is collaborating with faculty members on developing general guidelines in variable selection and statistical methods addressing missing data. Also, he is responsible for analyzing data from randomized control trials and observational studies, as well as developing procedures to address longitudinal data analysis, missing data problems, causal inference, and specific functional data from the Magnetic Resonance Imaging. His research interests are Nonparametric Statistics, Medical Diagnostics, Empirical Likelihood Method, Variable Selection, High Dimensional Data Analysis, Missing Data Analysis, and Machine Learning.
